Instant-message platform for UVM.
chat.uvm.edu runs an XMPP-compliant (formerly "Jabber", before Cisco bought the trademark) IM and conferencing protocol. Use it to have one-on-one realtime text chat with another UVM person, or a group chat, without that information traveling unencrypted through non-UVM systems.
