ELIGIBILITY

  • Current Students, Faculty, and Staff

REQUIREMENTS

OneDrive requires an active Microsoft account, or a work or school account.  Your UVM NetID-format email address (e.g., netid@uvm.edu) is a qualifying account.

OneDrive Desktop App

  • For the best experience on the OneDrive website, Microsoft recommends using the latest version of Edge, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.
  • Operating System:
    • 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows 10 (UVM does not support Windows 7, 8, or 8.1).
    • macOS 10.12 "Sierra" or later.
  • Processor: 1.6 GHz or higher, or Intel-based Mac computer, or a Windows 10 ARM-based PC
  • Memory: 1 GB of RAM or higher
  • Resolution: 1024 × 576 minimum
  • Internet connection: High-speed Internet access is recommended.
  • File systems: NTFS or HFS+ (case insensitive) or APFS (case insensitive)

OneDrive Mobile App

  • A phone or tablet with Android 6.0 or later.
  • An iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 13 or later.

DATA SECURITY

Do not use OneDrive to store or share HIPAA data.
